Smart Candidate Assessment

See how candidate assessment is evolving in organizations with AI agents.

  • Prebuilt agent Ready to use, we do not start from scratch. We start from an agent prepared for this process and configure it with your rules, your systems and your way of working.
  • Best practices Built in from day one.The agent's instructions incorporate the process practices we have applied when automating it in different organizations.
  • Configured by experts Functional and technology consultants.Specialized consultants support the configuration, integration, testing and go-live of the agent in your operation.
  • Agent platform Workforce AI.The agent runs on Workforce AI, GIITIC's own platform that centralizes security, permissions, audit, usage and administration of all your agents.
  • Process experience Processes + technology + enterprise software.Behind every agent are years of experience implementing enterprise software and automating processes in companies across Latin America.
  • GIITIC software ecosystem The tools the agent needs. We integrate with your current systems and, if you are missing one, the GIITIC ecosystem provides the modules the agent needs to query and act.
The current challenge

How it is done today, and why it is no longer enough

When candidate information is combined by gut feel, prediction gets worse: in a meta-analysis by Kuncel et al. (2013), combining it in a structured way improved the prediction of job performance by more than 50%, even compared with experts.

  • Scattered evidence
  • Hand-built comparisons
  • Decisions by impression
  • Unequal criteria
  • Unverified data
  • Decisions that drag on

Smart Candidate Assessment agent

Smart Candidate Assessment agent, an artificial intelligence agent

I'm an artificial intelligence agent trained by experts, ready to use and built with best practices. I am here to gather all the evidence for each candidate —résumé, interviews, tests and references— and compare it against the profile and criteria you defined. I give you a comparative report with the source of each data point and flag gaps and contradictions. The decision is yours.

Prebuilt, but adaptable to each organization.

How I work

  1. I detectCandidates to assessI identify the candidates who completed the stages and the evidence available for each one.
  2. I understandComplete evidenceI read each candidate’s résumé, tests, interviews, references and certificates.
  3. I analyzeComparison with the profileI compare the evidence against each requirement and criterion, using the weightings you defined.
  4. I decideGaps and contradictionsI flag requirements without evidence, data that doesn’t match and points to verify.
  5. I executeComparative reportI prepare the finalist table with the source of each data point and a summary for each candidate.
  6. I verifyHandoff to the committeeI hand the report to the decision makers and record the decision and its reasons.

    • Shortens the time between the last interview and the offer
  • Higher quality

Standardize the work and control every step so your information is reliable and your results are consistent.

    • Compares every candidate against the same profile, criteria and weightings

How work evolves

Your team moves from operating to deciding

The capacity the agent frees up goes to analysis, decisions, relationships, exceptions, improvement and innovation.

  1. No more low-value manual tasks

    • Searching emails and folders for résumés, tests and notes
    • Chasing interviewers for their evaluations
    • Building comparison tables in spreadsheets
    • Checking each candidate’s requirements one by one
    • Reconstructing afterward why someone was chosen
  2. The team adds value to the operation

    • Deciding with all the finalists’ evidence in view
    • Thoroughly verifying the points the agent flags
    • Talking with finalists about their gaps or doubts
    • Making sure the criteria and weightings are fair and relevant
    • Learning from each hire to improve the profiles
  3. Your team's professional growth

    • Talent assessment analystVerifies the evidence the agent flags and prepares the committee’s decision.
    • Agent supervisorReviews the quality of the reports, audits criteria and weightings and governs the agent’s knowledge.
    • Hiring fairness leadChecks that criteria and results are consistent and free of bias.
Enterprise knowledge

Agents are only as good as the knowledge and context they handle

It is one of the great challenges of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI): an agent without clear rules, reliable data and business context makes mistakes or stops. That is why knowledge is prepared, governed and improved as part of the project.

  • Job profiles, requirements and competencies
  • Assessment criteria, scales and weightings by position
  • Interpretation of the technical and psychometric tests your company uses

The knowledge this agent handles

  • Equivalences of degrees, certifications and experience
  • Policies for verifying references and background
  • Fairness, personal data and decision traceability rules

60%

of AI projects without AI-ready data will be abandoned through 2026, according to Gartner. Gartner, “Lack of AI-Ready Data Puts AI Projects at Risk,” February 2025

Integration

We integrate with your environment

We connect the agent with virtually any application, API, service or data source in your company, whether GIITIC or third-party systems.

Integrations this agent requires

  • Recruiting or HR systemYour applicant tracking system (ATS) or HR system, or GIITIC: candidates, résumés, interviews and decisions.
  • Tests and assessmentsTechnical, psychometric or knowledge testing platforms your company uses.
  • Reference verificationReferences, certificates and background checks authorized by the candidate.

Base systems for agents

If you do not have the base system, we provide reduced versions of GIITIC modules with the capabilities the agent needs to work.

  • Applications and ERP
  • APIs and web services
  • Databases and files
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol), when applicable

An agent needs software tools to query information and carry out actions. Without them, it stays a conversation. That is why we cover both paths: connecting to what you already have or giving you what you are missing.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Smart Candidate Assessment

What evidence does the artificial intelligence agent assess?
Each candidate’s résumé, test results, interview responses, interviewer evaluations, references and certificates, compared against the profile and criteria your team defines. The sources are confirmed when the project is scoped.
Does the agent decide who to hire or rule out candidates?
No. The agent organizes the evidence, compares it against your criteria and flags gaps and contradictions. People decide; the agent records the decision and its reasons.
How is bias handled?
Studies show that AI models can reproduce bias, so the agent works with defined, job-related criteria, shows the source of each data point, can hide personal data and leaves the decision to people. Your team periodically reviews criteria and results.
Do I need GIITIC, or can I use my current systems?
You can use your systems. The agent integrates with your recruiting or HR system, your testing platforms and your verification sources through APIs, services, files or MCP where applicable. If you don’t have the base system, we provide agent modules with the capabilities it needs.
How does it adapt to my positions and criteria?
The agent is prebuilt, but our consultants configure it with your profiles, criteria, weightings, tests and verification policies, and test it with your cases before putting it to work.
Who controls what the agent does?
Workforce AI centralizes permissions by agent, human approvals, decision traceability, statuses and errors, auditing and usage control. You define what evidence it uses, how it is weighted and who decides.
How long does implementation take, and how much does it cost?
It depends on your systems, tests, candidate volume and criteria. Starting from a prebuilt agent avoids developing from scratch. First we talk and scope the project with you; then we prepare the proposal. We don’t publish prices.
What happens to my recruiting team?
They stop building comparison tables and chasing evaluations, and spend their time verifying what matters, talking to finalists and making better decisions. The agent expands their capacity; it doesn’t leave them without control.
