The current challenge

How it is done today, and why it is no longer enough

Poorly managed contracts cost money: according to World Commerce & Contracting (2025), the average company loses almost 9% of its annual revenue to inefficiencies, disputes and missed opportunities in its contracts.

  • Copied drafts
  • Review backlog
  • Unapplied criteria
  • Hard-to-see changes
  • Missed dates
  • Hard-to-understand text

How work evolves

Your team moves from operating to deciding

The capacity the agent frees up goes to analysis, decisions, relationships, exceptions, improvement and innovation.

  1. No more low-value manual tasks

    • Drafting each contract by copying a previous one
    • Reading the counterparty’s drafts in full
    • Searching folders and emails for precedents and insurance policies
    • Comparing versions by hand
    • Tracking dates and obligations in spreadsheets
  2. The team adds value to the operation

    • Negotiating the points that really matter
    • Advising the business on the risks of each agreement
    • Improving templates, clauses and negotiation policies
    • Preventing disputes with clearer contracts
    • Supporting compliance with signed contracts
  3. Your team's professional growth

    • Strategic lawyerFocuses on complex negotiations, risks and advising the business.
    • Agent supervisorReviews the quality of the reviews, adjusts margins and criteria, and governs the agent’s knowledge.
    • Template and clause managerMaintains the templates, approved clauses and policies the agent uses.
Enterprise knowledge

Agents are only as good as the knowledge and context they handle

It is one of the great challenges of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI): an agent without clear rules, reliable data and business context makes mistakes or stops. That is why knowledge is prepared, governed and improved as part of the project.

  • Contract templates by type and approved clauses
  • Negotiation policies, margins and fallback positions
  • Checklists and requirements by contract type

The knowledge this agent handles

  • Contracts and precedents with each third party
  • Insurance policies, guarantees and required documents
  • Approvers by type, amount and risk

60%

of AI projects without AI-ready data will be abandoned through 2026, according to Gartner. Gartner, “Lack of AI-Ready Data Puts AI Projects at Risk,” February 2025

Base systems for agents

If you do not have the base system, we provide reduced versions of GIITIC modules with the capabilities the agent needs to work.

  • Contracts for agentsA reduced version of GIITIC Contracts: requests, templates, versions, approvals, obligations and insurance policies.
  • Document Management for agentsA reduced version of GIITIC Document Management: documents, case files, versions and permissions.
  • Applications and ERP
  • APIs and web services
  • Databases and files
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol), when applicable

An agent needs software tools to query information and carry out actions. Without them, it stays a conversation. That is why we cover both paths: connecting to what you already have or giving you what you are missing.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Smart Contract Management

What contracts can the artificial intelligence agent draft and review?
Purchase, sales, supply, services, nondisclosure and lease contracts, and others your company handles with defined templates or policies. The types and rules are confirmed when the project is scoped.
Does the agent replace the lawyer?
No. It prepares drafts, reviews and flags risks with their rationale; legal decisions, final negotiation, approvals and signatures are up to your team. It doesn’t issue legal opinions.
How does it review the contract the counterparty sends?
It compares every clause with your templates, approved clauses, negotiation policies and precedents; flags missing clauses, deviations and risks; and proposes alternative wording within the margins you define.
What does it do with the signed contract?
It extracts dates, obligations, insurance policies and owners so your contract system can track them and alert you before they expire.
Do I need GIITIC, or can I use my current systems?
You can use your systems. The agent integrates with your contract management system, document repository, word processor and e-signature through APIs, services, files or MCP where applicable. If you don’t have the base system, we provide agent modules with the capabilities it needs.
Who controls what the agent does?
Workforce AI centralizes permissions by agent, human approvals, traceability of versions, changes and rationale, statuses and errors, auditing and usage control. You define what it adjusts on its own and what it escalates to legal.
How is the confidentiality of the contracts protected?
The agent respects your systems’ permissions: it works only with the contracts each person is allowed to view, and Workforce AI keeps the traceability and audit trail of what it does.
How long does implementation take, and how much does it cost?
It depends on your contract types, templates, policies and volume. Starting from a prebuilt agent avoids developing from scratch. First we talk and scope the project with you; then we prepare the proposal. We don’t publish prices.
